Obstacle Course

It has been said, "life is an obstacle course, with me being the chief obstacle."

There is a case to be made for investing in yourself.  I am not referring to skill sets, but rather the longstanding patterns that have been getting in your way for as long as you can remember.

Have you come to accept certain limitations as "just the way I am"? For instance, "I have always had a tendency to lose my temper," or "I always get uncomfortable around..." or, "I know I can be excessive, that's just the way I am."

But why accept these limitations?  They are not who you are.  They represent patterns or beliefs that were created at a point in time, and they can shift.  Shouldn't you be the way you want to be?  Why accept less?  You can change and grow.  It is never too late.
